Before joining ACA, Erika dedicated seven years to children’s ministry, serving as a leader for two of those years. She initially supported the ACA community as a recess supervisor and Spanish teacher before adding the custodial role. Erika enjoys building positive relationships with students during recess, encouraging kindness, teamwork, and Christlike character as they learn and play together.

Jocelyn Boyd

Life Skills, Math Resource

Jocelyn graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, with a B.S. in Mathematics Education. Before joining ACA, she taught at Bob Jones Academy, where she developed a passion for making math both accessible and exciting. Known for her engaging approach and commitment to student growth, Jocelyn challenges learners to think critically, solve problems confidently, and discover the real-world power of mathematics. Her goal is to ignite curiosity and build skills that prepare students for success beyond the classroom.

Yesenia Crothers

Music Department Manager

Mrs. Yesenia Crothers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Master of Science in Personnel Services from Bob Jones University. With more than 20 years of experience teaching private flute lessons, she has also developed elementary music curriculum, taught group music classes, and served in church administration. As Music Department Manager, Mrs. Crothers supports the music program through organization, communication, and administrative leadership. She is passionate about helping students experience the joy of music while supporting teachers and families as they work together to develop each student’s God-given talents.

Gayle Eberhardt

Science, Resource, Accreditation Coordinator, Academic Advisor

Gayle serves as ACA’s Resource Teacher, Academic Advisor, and Accreditation Coordinator. As Resource Teacher, she provides individualized support to help students overcome learning challenges and reach their full academic potential. As Academic Advisor, she partners with high school students and families to guide academic planning and encourage long-term success. As Accreditation Coordinator, Gayle oversees the school’s accreditation process, ensuring ACA continues to meet the highest standards of educational excellence.

Caleb French

Director of Music, Choir

Caleb serves as ACA’s Director of Music and Choir, blending his passion for music and ministry to lead vibrant worship and choral programs. With a Master of Music in Church Music and extensive teaching experience, he inspires students to develop their musical gifts while growing through meaningful praise and performance. An accomplished composer and arranger of choral music, Caleb is also a member of the Phoenix Chorale, contributing his talents to one of the nation’s premier vocal ensembles.

Linda Guthrie

Instructional Aide, Secretary

Since joining ACA in 2002, Linda has supported students and faculty with her extensive experience in Christian education. She has completed college coursework and has worked as a school secretary for 36 years at Christian schools including Bethany Christian in Michigan, Heart to Heart Christian, and ACA. While in Michigan, Linda was the cheerleading sponsor for 10 years, and she has been the yearbook adviser at ACA since 2002. She has also substitute taught in many classes both in Michigan and at ACA. Her dedication and experience make her an invaluable part of the school community, where she helps create a positive and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Teresa Raby

Instructional Aide

Teresa holds degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and has a diverse professional background, including roles in traffic management, bookkeeping, and as a revenue agent with the IRS. She brings this broad experience and strong organizational skills to her role as an instructional aide. Teresa’s participation in mission trips to the Philippines, Kenya, and Indonesia has deeply enriched her life, broadening her perspective and strengthening her commitment to serving others, qualities she brings to supporting students every day.

He ensures that athletics promote teamwork, integrity, and healthy living, while prioritizing the safety of all students on and off the field.

In her dual role as Community Relations Coordinator and Curriculum Coordinator, Megan strengthens partnerships between ACA and families while ensuring the school’s academic programs align with Biblical principles. She combines her educational background and passion for community to support student success and school growth.

Sutira Turnquist

Sutira joined ACA in the summer of 2021. She holds an Associate Degree in Office Administration from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. With extensive experience as an administrative assistant, Sutira has supported operations in both the financial sector and Christian education. Prior to her time at ACA, she worked for a mutual fund company and a Christian school in Wisconsin. Additionally, she dedicated seven years to homeschooling her children, enriching her understanding of education and family engagement.

Georgie Ulici

Georgie is a dedicated Instructional Aide and Resource Specialist, fluent in Romanian and conversational in French. Raised in Romania, she pursued Christian education despite restrictions under communist rule, demonstrating remarkable faith and resilience. She earned a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Bible from Clearwater Christian College. With experience as an Elementary Teacher, Caregiver, and Nurse Assistant, Georgie brings diverse skills and compassion to support students. Her courageous history of smuggling Bibles and teaching materials during communist rule fuels her passion for encouraging critical thinking and growth in her students. Her multilingual skills and rich life experiences deepen her connection with the school community.

Tim graduated from ACA in 2009 and earned a B.A. in History from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. Tim brings a diverse professional background that equips him well for his current role. He served as an administrative assistant to the director of Ironwood Camp in California, gaining valuable organizational and leadership skills. Additionally, Tim spent five years at Amazon working in shipping and as a safety process assistant, where he developed a strong attention to detail, efficiency, and commitment to safety. His varied experience makes him a reliable and highly effective member of the ACA team.

Emerson Yazzie

Emerson joined the ACA team in 2022, combining five years of teaching experience with a military background that emphasizes discipline and problem-solving. In his Maintenance and IT role, he ensures the smooth operation of school facilities and technology systems, supporting a safe and efficient learning environment for students and staff.
